What is a dynamical system from the perspective of fundamental mathematics? How can we measure, understand, or even control the chaos that arises from it?

During this lecture, we will delve into the heart of dynamical systems—mathematical objects that model the evolution of a system over time. We will explore how entropy can be used to quantify the chaotic nature of these systems. Then, we’ll go even further by examining the concept of entropy at infinity, a mathematical tool that allows us to control the chaos stemming from trajectories that escape to infinity.
