*Facilitation = guiding groups during meetings, gatherings and decision-making processes.

For who?

Volunteers from activist collectives, social centres,  occupations, social movements, squats, community projects or other grassroots initiatives.

All levels of experience are welcome - whether you are just starting out in activism and community organising, or have been active for many years.

Priority is given to BIPOC and transgender folks.

What will you learn?

How to consciously engage with power dynamics and contribute to a group culture where every voice is heard.

How to guide (facilitate) groups in a more inclusive way during meetings, gatherings and decision-making processes.

Real costs: €290 per person
Solidarity contribution: We encourage those who can to contribute up to €580 

Social price: A limited number of places available at a reduced price of €50 to €200

Trainers
Hanae (she/her), Hanne (she/her) and Robin (he/they).

These trainers bring a wide variety of experiences from, among others, the climate movement, no-border movement, LGBTQIA+ community, squatting movement and anti-racism movement. They represent diverse perspectives on ethnicity, gender and sexuality, disability, (mental) health, class, education level and housing.

By including your pronouns as well as your name, you ensure that we can address each other appropriately and you contribute to the inclusiveness of trans and non-binary people.
A person of your choice that we can contact in case of an emergency or health crisis
Depending on the risk profile of the person asking for the protocol we will ask you to test and/ or mask (ffp2) if you are able to. We will provide both tests and masks. If you test positive for Covid, you will have to leave the training (and will be reimbursed). If you test positive for another respiratory virus it will depend on the profile of the person whether you can stay if you mask or if you will have to leave. * or people who are in close contact with or caring for people with health conditions
We work according to the principles of a solidarity economy, in which money should not be a barrier to participating in this workshop. The actual cost is €290 per person. We can offer a limited number of places on a sliding scale from €50 to €200. We encourage everyone who can, to give more, to create space for folks with less financial capacity. In particular, we ask white, able-bodied participants with higher education or other significant privileges to contribute more, up to €580 per person.
