Information and Informed Consent

This questionnaire is part of a research study aimed at better understanding the experiences of migrant and exiled Lebanese and Palestinian women within the context of feminist struggles in Belgium. Your participation is crucial to help us gather valuable insights on this topic.

This questionnaire is part of a quantitative data collection initiative conducted by AWSA-Be (Arab Women’s Solidarity Association Belgium), an organization dedicated to promoting the rights of women of Arab origin in Belgium. AWSA-Be advocates for gender equality and highlights Arabic cultures.

The questionnaire is divided into 4 sections:

Section 1: Profile questions
Section 2: Questions about the pre-immigration period
Section 3: Questions about your experiences after immigration
Section 4: Invitation to an interview

Participation Criteria:
To take part in this study, you must meet the following criteria:

Be 18 years of age or older
Identify as a woman
Have Lebanese and/or Palestinian origins
Currently reside in Belgium

Voluntary Participation:
Your participation in this questionnaire is entirely voluntary. You have the right to choose whether or not to participate, and you can stop answering at any time without any consequences.

Confidentiality:
All information you provide will be treated with strict confidentiality. Your responses will be anonymized and used solely for the purposes of this research. No identifying information will be shared.

Duration of Participation:
The questionnaire will take approximately [10 to 20 minutes] to complete.

Benefits and Risks:
There are no risks associated with your participation in this study. It will contribute to a better understanding of feminist issues within the context of migration.
